We didn’t aspire to build a sub-division, our vision was to create a
work of art wherein people could live their lives
Beautiful things, e.g.: statuary, fountains, walled ponds, period
architecture, tasteful street furniture, etc., all help create beautiful spaces,
and by extension, beautiful places.
Our intent was to infuse our community with points of interest that enrich lives,
lift spirits, and inspire social interaction in the community.
Henry James refers to this collectively as "material grace", we
agree.
Pictured on the left is a statue we have installed in one of the small parks
here at The Village of Turner Trace. It is this type of art and beauty
we envision when we think of Turner Trace. It's part of what makes The
Village of Turner Trace A Very Special Place.
This beautiful bronze statue of a girl swinging a little boy stands about 6
feet tall, and is a wonderful piece that captures the joy of childhood.
Below, you will find some more pictures of the statue, as well as a map
depicting where in Turner Trace you will find this beautiful statue.
Here are some more, larger pictures of the statue: Side

This picture will give you some idea of the size of the statue in scale
to a human. Pictured with the
statue is one of the Developers here at The Village of Turner Trace, Dan Muehlenbein..
